Associate Professor of Education

I have taught all subjects (language arts, social studies,
science, mathematics) at the elementary level. I have administrative experience
at the building (assistant principal) and central office levels (curriculum
director, staff developer). My major teaching and research interests are the
effective teaching of writing, the Theory of Multiple Intelligences in the
classroom, Brain Research and its applications in the classroom, critical
thinking strategies, and the impact of high expectations on student achievement.
