Assistant Professor of Mathematics
My
research in algebra lies in real algebraic geometry. I am particularly
interested in questions about positive polynomials and sums of squares, and my
current work is devoted to exploring representations of polynomials that are
non-negative on some non-compact semialgebraic subsets of the plane.Courses Taught
