We have a large series of activities planned for you!
You will have something to do EVERYDAY unless you decide to take a few days off to stroll, shop, venture around Paris (Strasbourg, Germany), and Valencia at your own pace!

I’m a bit afraid to go because I don’t speak any French/Spanish. Will I be ok?
Don’t be afraid! You will be fine: You have the advantage of traveling abroad with your professors, plus, we will have pre-departure sessions and online audio material to help you manage everyday tasks (ordering food, greetings etc.)

“Immigration in France and Spain: Social, Historical, and Economical Issues”
Socio-cultural - historical - interdisciplinary program
The class introduces France and Spain’s culture to students who want to understand their people, history and society. The class examines migration trends, compares European Law and Human Rights, Cultural and religious variety in France and Spain, the problems of immigration in France and Spain, their recent history, factors of immigration, and immigrants' situation.
Students will study multidisciplinary and multicultural themes surrounding the subject of immigration in France and Spain. Such explorations will be done throughout topics of immigration politics, critical analysis of literary excerpts, films and media, visits of historical sites, and meetings with prominent artists and scholars.
