About the Course

"Osteology: Fun with Roadkill" is a course offered through the Wesleyan Academy for Lifelong Learning at Wesleyan College.  The course meets Friday afternoons in October, 2013.  The instructor for the course is Dr. Barry Rhoades of the Wesleyan College Biology Department

This course will cover both the theoretical basis of comparative vertebrate osteology and the practical aspects of skeletal preparation and mounting, using the diverse Wesleyan Osteology Collection.  During the course we will articulate and mount the skeleton of a Sunda flying lemur for inclusion in the collection.
